The Role of Music in Sports
Music has made a huge impact on sports for many of years. The relationship between music and sports has been shown in halftime shows to even pre game warmups. Music allows the athlete to create their own creativity due to their interpretation on what is playing and how it makes them feel.

Do you believe that music gets you hyped before the big game?
"Yea most definitely! I love it when I walk out of the locker room onto the field and put in my headphones, because I block out all the outside noise and go into my zone." What is your favorite Genre too listen to? " I love me some Tupac Big dawg. When I really want to get in my zone I have to listen to da baby" How would you feel if you didn't have music to listen to before the game? " I wouldn't really like it. Music gives me extra motivation to get out there and get piped up." Without listening to music before a game, do you feel it will affect your performance in a negative way? "Nah, not my performance but definitely the energy I bring on the field." How does Music Shape Athletes?

Third Place- An informal setting that can allow you to express yourself. While athletes are listening to music before a big game it allows them to be in aa state of mind to either get focused or hyped. Listening to music in a locker room allows them to be in a different place.
