How Are Stadiums Optimized for Music and Sound?
The Seattle Seahawks stadium is the loudest in the entire NFL, but there is a science behind why this is so. The curvature of the roof plus the materials help catch and reflect sound better. Metal and concrete are very good materials for reflecting sound. In the Seattle Seahawks' stadium, the roof is constructed using metal. Also the concrete used to construct to the stadium gives it the bowl shape. This combination helps reflect all of the sound back to the center of the field

How Does Music Affect the Players?
Syncing the tempo of music to athletes' heartbeats can improve stamina, speed and performance. Music activates many parts of the brain simultaneously such as the following: the parietal lobe, visual lobe, temporal lobe and frontal lobe. Music is also able to regulate and enhance a player's mood and help filter out distractions. This is because music can be used to extract the dopamine and natural opioids that are found in the brain to help block our perception of fatigue and pain.

Critical Intersection
The critical intersections that were involved in our research include emotions and creativity. Emotions create a mindset that helps block out distractions and allows them to portray how they are feeling prior to the game. Creativity is the player's interpretation of the music that they're listening to before the game.
